St Patricks Day Parade in Boston

A parade is probably not the best place to find material for a book blog but apparently the St Pats Parade in Boston was a great place to see some very dedicated Sci-fi fans so I figured all of their hard work deserved a post!

Check out the Ghost Busters. Now I haven't taken the time to check out their website, but I will. I didn't realize the Ghost Busters still had such a following. Sadly the State Puff was taking a break when he came past us so I didn't get a good pick of him. Everyone else looked great though. You can see they have put a lot of time into theses costumes and since it was 70 out they had to have been pretty hot in those jump suits, that's dedication. 

Now of course I did catch a few of them texting but that seems to be a sad sign of our generation.

 Also making an appearance was a Star Wars group. Now I'm not sure if they are a club or what? But they had some cool costumes.
Again most of them had to be pretty hot in their jump suits but lucky for Leia her costume was nice and cool.


Now for some reason Captian Jack was running around with the Ghost Busters and no one knew why. At least he tried to move thing along when the parade started to lag...

I have to say parades are not my favorite, but the kids seemed to have a good time and hey at least I was able to get some fun pictures :)
