Waiting on Wednesday ~ Obsession by Rivka Spicer

Waiting on Wednesday is hosted by Breaking the Spine

This week my Waiting on Wednesday is the soon to be new release by Rivka Spicer Obsession. This will be the third installment in her Masquerade series. SInce I loved the first two books I am very excited for the release of this one. The fantastic cover was designed by Luke Bailey

Summary:

Max Hughes is an ordinary guy living an ordinary life. When the manuscript for a book called Obsession lands on his desk, he knows he's got something special. It's so dark, so absorbing, that he finds himself fascinated by the woman that wrote it. He doesn't make house calls for anyone, but Obsession has crawled under his skin and this time, just once, he'll make an exception.

Three years after being turned, Jo is still having trouble adjusting to life as a vampire. Unable to bear the presence of her handsome publishing liaison for fear she'll drain him, she arranges to meet him at the estate where Will and Oceana can supervise her visit.

Their lives collide in the most catastrophic of ways when Max falls over a body on the doorstep as he leaves the house. A prolific serial killer, known as The Avatar, has left an invitation for Oceana out to come and play.

As they begin a race to save lives and hunt the hunter, Max finds himself entangled in this dark world where vampires and witches are at every turn, and even the professors of theological mathematics are dangerously attractive. Unable to walk away because of his obsession with Jo, he can only contemplate making the ultimate sacrifice. When they discover that there's something much darker and deadlier than the vampires at the top of the food chain, something that may actually come from hell, it's no longer about trying to save lives; they're trying to save the world.

To find out more about Rivka and the rest of her novels you can check her out on  facebook or follow her on Twitter I'm sure she will be posting as soon as Obsession is available.
