Silence of the Wolf ~ Terry Spear

Silence of the Wolf (Heart of the Wolf, #13)Silence of the Wolf by Terry Spear
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
Another Netgalley score :)

Life For the Silver Pack Just Got Wilder...
Elizabeth Wildwood has been a loner all her life, ostracized because of her "mixed" half-wolf, half-coyote blood. When she ventures into gray wolf territory on a dangerous quest of her own and his thrown together with the sexiest shifter she's ever met she begins to wish for the first time that she could be part of a family.
When this unusual shifter female comes into his pack's territory, it's Tom Silver's job to protect her—if only she would let him.
My Take:

If you've spent any time on my blog at all you'll realize that I love wolf shifters. For the most part Terry Spear's have been in my favorite. I have always enjoyed how her Lupus Garou have shifted so seamlessly into their wolf forms. They seems to be very distinctive creatures all to themselves not like the Werewolves of the horro movies. Lately it does seem that Mrs Spear has replaced that which set her wolves apart and has just started calling them Werewolves. Im not sure if this was an idea to try to main stream the series or not but I keep hoping that she will go back to calling the Lupus Garou and keeping her series truly unto itself.

Anyways this novel helps to tie up some loose ends back in Silver Town where the third brother in the triplets is still not so happily mateless. I think overall the storyline was good but I wasn't as in love with the female lead character as I usually am. Although this was not my favorite in the series I still did find it enjoyable and still always recommend The Heart of The Wolf Series to anyone looking for a good quality shifter romance. I have also enjoyed her new series which focuses on cat shifters. If your looking for something a little different you should pick one up.
